When making requests to reuse content in an electronic journal or eBook format, we ask if you will be publishing your work in an Open Access model.
This is a specific publishing model for academic publishers and means your work will most likely be published under a Creative Commons Licence. Introductory information on Open Access and the difference between Green and Gold Open Access can be found here.
If you're not sure if your article or eBook will be published in an Open Access model, we recommend speaking to your editor before completing the Request Wizard form. However, if you're not sure, the article will mostly likely be published under a traditional model and you can select 'no.'
If you are publishing online and making the content openly available, you should select 'no' unless Green or Gold Open Access applies.
